MUI CHOY KOW YOK #梅菜扣肉 braised pork with preserved vegetables.
HOME: Just had the Urge to cook something for my Kiddoes.....
INGREDIENTS: Fat Belly Pork, Sweet Mui Choy,
Dark Soya Sauce, Light Soya Sauce, Wine, Few pcs of Anise.
Preparation: All in 3 hrs.
Good to go with Rice.


[Home-made pork Meat Balls]
Minced meat, coriander, shrimps, mushrooms, Pepper, Oyster sauce, Five spiced powder, salt, soya sauce, corn flour egg, onion, garlic...Plus a touch of Sesame oil n Chinese Wine.

You can order pre-made frozen meat balls, just unfreeze the meatballs when you want to cook, can keep in the freezer for months, no preservative or colourings, home-made with love. Selling at RM1 per meatballs.

Salted egg yolk, curry leaves, chilli padi, butter, evaporated milk, minced garlic, curry powder, chicken wings, flour, baking powder.

I rub one whole. #Chicken with Chinese herbs and steam for 2 hours under low heat.
Ready package herbal chicken RM50 one whole Chicken. You can order directly.


Example of 3 simple dishes, 4-6 pax portion:

1) slow braised Pig Trotters in dark Soya Sauce
2) Tomatoes Egg chinese style.
3) Stirred Fried Cabbage shreds with fresh prawns, bit chilli.




[Stir fry bitter gourd with fresh prawns]

It might look like a simple stir fry vegetables but bitter gourds actually have a lot of health benefits, for eg: managing diabetes, increase immune system, sharpen vision, relieving asthma, enhance skin, cancer prevention etc.
The key is how to ensure the bitter gourd is crunchy yet not so bitter. Rove the seeds and fibrous core. Slice the bitter gourd and boil the gourd in boiling water with a pinch of salt/sugar for one Minute. Remove from hot water and put it in ice water for a while to prevent the gourd from overcooking.


[Bombay Chicken] my signature dishes, I create my own recipe.


Why bombay the name? Used to bring my kids to bombay palace in Kl long time ago, not sure if the place still exists. My kids love the tandoori chicken from bombay palace when it first hit kl to market real Indian food and not mamak food.
Ingredients: Soya Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Dark Soya Sauce, Corn Flour, Sugar, Baking Powder and Vege Oil, marinate for 1 hour.
Deep fry chicken drumsticks till dark golden brown.
Juicy, scrumptious, and delicious.
