- Kuala Lumpur is the capital of Malaysia. if you are coming from another modern city, you might find most of the amazing skyscrapers and modern architecture amazing done by human and technology.
- Aside from that, most of the shopping lovers will come to KL for shopping sprees in the shopping centres, such as Pavilion, Midvalley, Sunway Pyramid, and many more. KL is full of more than 65 shopping malls, such as the world’s 4th largest mall, 1Utama, 5 million square feet. or try The Sunway Pyramid shopping mall famous with its Egyptian-inspired sphinx architecture and its water theme park - Sunway Lagoon.
- Kuala Lumpur city was founded in 1857 by Chinese tin miners, Yap Ah Loy.
- Kuala Lumpur means “muddy assembly” if direct translate in Malay. The city is situated at the confluence of Gombak River (earlier was named as Lumpur River) and Klang River.

Batu Caves is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan.
- The limestone forming Batu Caves is said to be around 400 million years old.
- Rising almost 100 m above the ground, the Batu Caves temple complex consists of three main caves and a few smaller ones. The biggest, referred to as Cathedral Cave or Temple Cave, has a very high ceiling and features ornate Hindu shrines. To reach it, visitors must climb a steep flight of 272 steps.
- Standing at 42.7 m (140 ft) high, the world's tallest statue of Murugan, a Hindu deity, is located outside Batu Caves. The statue, which cost approximately 24 million rupees, is made of 1550 cubic metres of concrete, 250 tonnes of steel bars and 300 litres of gold paint brought in from neighbouring Thailand.
- The busiest festival celebration in Batu Caves is Thaipusam, a festival celebrated by the Tamil community on the full moon in the Tamil month of Thai.
- You may expect to see a kit of pigeons on the ground, some wild monkeys as you walk up the 272 steps (please try not to hold any plastic bag, else the monkeys will snatch, and expect some bats hiding in the dark caves.)

- KL TOWER is the 7th tallest telecommunication tower in the world and the tallest tower in Southeast Asia. Standing at 421m and located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia.

- As most of the tourists will just take photos from the ground (suria KLCC park), some of the tourists would like to go up to the sky bridge to have another sky observation deck. however, their ticket counters are open from 8:30am to 8:30pm, Tuesday to Sunday, closed on Monday. Issuance of tickets is based on a "first come, first served" basis. No specific online ticketing available, unless you buy a tour package upfront. Else, please start queueing as early as 730-8am.
• Abdul Samad Building (optional if we have additional time)
- The Sultan Abdul Samad Building is a late nineteenth century building located along Jalan Raja in front of the Dataran Merdeka and the Royal Selangor Club in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- It was completed in 1897 by A.C. Norman
- 41.2m- high clock tower
- Now, it is a home to the Ministry of Information, Communications and Culture of Malaysia
- similar design with Masjid Jamek (Jamek Mosque) due to the same architecture.
- Kuala Lumpur’s earliest Moorish-style buildings
- built in 1897 and was named after the Sultan of Selangor at the time
- originally served as the secretariat for the colonial British administration, was served as superior courts of Malaysia, before moving all government offices to Putrajaya.
- Nearby Landmark: Merdeka Square is the usual venue for Malaysian's annual Merdeka Parade (National Day Parade). Also, we can explore the Kuala Lumpur Railway Station, the home to British colonial-era landmarks.
Late noon/ early evening: Central market (Malaysian art craft)
- Central Market began life as a wet market in 1888, built by Yap Ah Loy, the city’s Chinese Kapitan.
- Consist of over 70,000 square feet of retail space, it later transformed into a delightful destination for tourists, shoppers and art lovers,
- more than 350 shops and kiosks, selling handicraft, batik, souvenirs, antiques, collectable items
- Food recommendation - modern nyonya food, or simple local food in the food court upstairs.

Petaling street (more for the local scene, mostly sell pirated/ fake products)
- Intro: Yap Ah Loy, an influential Chinese also the founder of KL city, had opened a tapioca mill on Petaling Street. Petaling Street is being known to the chinese locals as called ‘Chee Cheong Gai 吉隆坡唐人街（茨厂街）, a direct translation of ‘Starch Factory Street’ in Cantonese, referring to its history as the centre for the production of tapioca flour in the olden days.
- famous for fake branded items like Gucci, LV, chanel, and so on. if you fancy for fake branded items, be ready for some good bargaining skills, the price the seller offer is at least 35% higher than the original price.
- Some good local food passed down by older generations, but most of the time, you rarely taste the great taste local food, some are just operated by foreign workers, for example, Indonesians/ Bangladesh. for good food, try hunt for Malaysian who still do the cooking for their F&B stall.
- due to hugh crowd of tourists, beware of pickpockets. Dress as simple as possible. Well, rich people wont be interested to spend their time here, because most of the items are fake brands, it is more for you to see how's the local Malaysian stall vendor scene.
5. Night time:
Food stall chinese food @ Jalan Alor
this bustling road at night for fantastic street food. Suggests you search for fixed price in the food stalls in the street food area. Find those showing fixed price RM, instead of no price display at all, else you will be charged at higher price.

- SAI WOO for their stir fried seafood dishes.
- LOK LOK/ BBQ stall - similar to cocktail/ skewers, processed fishballs or other meats on satay stick.
- Wong ah Wah - BBQ Chicken wings and dry noodles.
- Pin Chen Hainanese Chicken Rice/ Ban Mee
- 亚罗街咖喱面 Alor Corner Curry Noodle - nearby KFC shop.
- Restoran Beh Brothers (in the morning) - Pork Noodle, Red Wine Mee Sua, Curry noodle and dry wan tan mee - food stall by SISTER DRUNKEN CHICKEN NOODLE.
- SANGKAYA - a modern coconut shaved ice dessert.
- Local fruits, such as durian, mangosteen, langsat, longan, laici.
After dinner, night time: drop you off at
Changkat, Jalan Alor – tourist drinking place, pub crawling, pub hopping.
- used to be pre-war, colonial shop-houses that were refurbished and turned into upmarket pubs and restaurants.
- More towards international casual dining and drinking place. Of course, besides drinking place, you might experience some girls or transgender offer 'special service' as you walk around.

Tips: You can self-guide to rely on Public transport in KL such as the monorail and LRTS. Google RAPID KL for more information. Don't have high expectations on the public transport such as bus and taxi, due to its inconsistent arrival time or open price from the taxi drivers. You can choose to rely on the local taxi/ driver's app such as GRAB. Or else, do consider my offer as your personal tour guide and driver.
